27 - Give Thanks

He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has. -Epictetus

Meditate on how bad your life could be. Where are you? What are you wearing? What are you eating? What does it smell like? Really put yourself there. When you're finished look around and realise how lucky you are. Start giving thanks to a god, universe or just yourself for not being in that situation and for all you do have. When something good happens give thanks again. Being grateful will always make you happier. Thanking shows your appreciation. The more you do it the more you'll see to be thankful for.
