30 - Make The World A Better Place

30 - Make The World A Better Place

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

We get upset when we look around and see things remaining steady or getting worse. Start looking for ways to make the world a little bit better. It doesn't need to be a big change. You're 1 out of 7 billion people. So aim to make the world a 7-billionth bit better each day. Make amends with someone, clean, help someone. When we see the world getting a bit better each day, we regain hope and hope will get us through, even the toughest of times.
